OUR STORY
In 2016 the world signed up to limit global warming to 2°C above pre-industrial levels through the Paris Agreement.
“If you aim at nothing, you will hit it every time” - Zig Ziglar.
The 2°C limit is a simple, singular and unifying goal. Granted, it is ambitious and may oversimplify a complex discussion but we believe that goals are powerful instruments in effecting change and that is exactly what we need right now.
THE WORLD AT +2°C

FRESH WATER
(in the Mediterranean)
↓ 17%

WHEAT YIELDS
(in tropical regions)
↓ 16%

SEA LEVEL
(by 2100 relative to 2000)
↑ 1 metre
These are just a few examples of what a rise in global temperatures could result in but the real cost would be too great to count – flooding, drought, forest fires, natural disasters, food and fresh water shortages, population displacement and inevitable human conflict.
It goes without saying that as governments, businesses and individuals we have a duty to do better, and we can.
We all have the power to make small everyday changes that collectively can make a big difference – whether it is making better purchasing decisions, supporting grass root projects or just wasting less stuff.
We don’t need to be perfect, just better.
